Former Activities
In summer 2007 we arranged the Wagon Festival in Nafplion in collaboration with the local municipality. The event took place on 7th July and was hosted at the old rail station of the city. The aim of this project was to explore the ways that culture can make people’s mind travel. In this way, the abandoned train wagons were converted to small galleries and the visitors attended exhibitions of photography, painting, collage, art installations and video art. Outside the wagons music concerts were held, so that the audience could listen to variable genres of music. The whole project was supported by press, local radio stations and also by local companies which sponsored the festival.
Furthermore, our organization has arranged concerts for Cirquito, a new and promising ensemble that consists of three digital pianos and mixed media. Along with performing original compositions, and well known film scores, Cirquito try to give a fresh insight into masterpieces of the classical repertoire. Acting as the ensemble’s managers, we have arranged a series of concerts in Athens, Thessalonica, Karditsa, Zakinthos and Larissa, throughout winter 2007-2008.
